Yeah...apparently our windshield wipers were tasty.
Then, we got to go pet a baby lions!
Who like to play with my hair.
They are so cuddly! :)
Then it was off the giraffes. Now, I don't mean to sound snobby, but I've done this twice before, so it was kind of old news...But I haven't let the giraffe get the food out of my mouth before!
So much fun!
Then, we went to a Casino for lunch. I know that sounds awful, but actually shopping and restaurants are on the outside of the casino and you don't actually have to go in. So for those of you who were worried about my reputation as a missionary, never fear. :)
I felt like I was in an amusement park inside there. The ceiling was painted like a sky, and it was just crazy decorated like you were outside in Europe or something.
But the absolute best part of the day??
THERE WAS A STARBUCKS IN THE HOTEL!!
Iced Caramel Macchiato extra caramel please! I can't tell you how incredibly good it tasted.
And just in case you don't believe me about the lion on the car...

ReplyDeleteThat is some nasty looking tongue on that giraffe. You know me and the animal thing - just couldn't happen. You are a full participant of the African ways of life and quite a Tarzan/Jane with the animals. Whew!- and the lion on the car.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you were able to get some delicious Starbuck's and have a flash of luxury at the casino before returning to al natural. I pray for you and I am so thrilled that you find joy in all things and continue to give God the praise. Love ya my friend. I am in the process of writing and updating you on the happenings in G'ville (no lion or giraffe stories though.)
